A native of Baton Rouge, Val received his undergraduate degree from LSU with a B.A. in Finance. He continued his education at Paul M. Hebert Law Center where he graduated cum laude, with diplomas in Comparative Law and graduate certificate in Energy Law and Policy.

Val’s practice focuses on Litigation and defense of claims under the Defense Base Act.

Outside of work, Val likes camping, hiking, traveling, road trips, cooking, reading and spending time with friends and family.
