Stan is a Texas native and has spent his professional career litigating in state and federal courts throughout Texas, with extensive experience in Harris County and Southeast Texas.  For 35 years, he has handled and tried all types of litigation, including toxic tort, product liability, personal injury, and wrongful death claims.  He is also an incisive analyst and communicator, able to distill difficult and multi-faceted cases into accessible and accurate evaluations for his clients and effective and digestible themes for judges, juries, and mediators.

His extensive experience, professional acumen, and cogent communication skills have also made Stan a sought-after author and speaker in legal publications and conferences.  He has also been honored repeatedly as a Texas Super Lawyer and has been recognized by his peers in the Best Lawyers in America. Stan also served as an adjunct professor with Baylor Law School’s LLM in Litigation Management.  

Professional accomplishments aside, Stan is even more proud of his achievements in his personal life — his forty-year (and counting!) marriage to his high school sweetheart, Stacy, and their son, John (30), and daughter, Anna(33).
