Originally from Corpus Christi, Texas, Rilley grew up immersed in her Spanish heritage and language. As a first-generation college student, she developed a strong work ethic and an appreciation for diverse perspectives and the opportunities afforded through education, values that continue to guide her professional career. Proficient in Spanish, Rilley possesses the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Rilley moved to Louisiana in 2020 to attend Louisiana State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in English, graduating cum laude. Her undergraduate studies sharpened her writing and critical analysis skills, providing a strong foundation for law school. As part of her coursework, she wrote a full-length novel, further developing her creativity and attention to detail.
After falling in love with Louisiana, Rilley made the state her permanent home and attended Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. During law school, she was a member of the Loyola Maritime Law Journal, where she refined her legal research and writing skills, and the Latinx Law Student Association, where she remained connected to her cultural heritage and the legal community.
Outside of the office, Rilley enjoys spending time with her dog, Bandito, and occasionally serves as a bartender at the oldest bar in America, located on Bourbon Street.
