After graduating from the University of New Orleans in 1997 with a B.A. degree in Sociology, Reed enrolled in the Santa Clara University School of Law in California, where he obtained his law degree in 2001. While in law school, Reed gained valuable experience as a judicial extern for the Hon. Ronald M. Whyte, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California (San Jose division).

With over two decades of defense litigation experience, Reed joined Taylor, Wellons, Politz & Duhe in 2025.  As part of TWPD’s general liability and workers’ compensation practice groups, Reed defends companies small and large in trucking, auto, premises liability, construction defect, and workers’ compensation litigation. Reed also represents insurance companies in coverage dispute matters, and in defense of bad faith claims.

Reed is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and Texas and is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, all Texas state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Northern Districts of Texas, and the U.S. Court of Appeal for the Fifth Circuit,

In his spare time, he enjoys working on home projects, working out at the gym, watching soccer, taking trips with his kids, and listening to live music and eating all of the great food that New Orleans offers.
