Jake Hammond is an associate in TWPD’s Baton Rouge office, where her practices on the firm’s insurance defense and civil litigation team. He earned his law degree and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2026. While in law school, he received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Insurance and served on the Board of Advocates.
Before law school, Jake graduated summa cum laude from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he studied political science and English. He also earned associate degrees in liberal arts and mass communication, both summa cum laude, from Louisiana State University at Eunice. A former collegiate pitcher, Jake was a 2021 national champion at LSU Eunice and two-time First Team NJCAA All-American, and later captained the baseball team at UL Lafayette while earning Academic All-American honors.
