Emma Moppert joined Taylor Wellons in 2023, where her current focus is workers’ compensation and toxic torts litigation.  Emma was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She received a B.A. in English from George Mason University, graduating magna cum laude with honors.

Emma earned her Juris Doctorate from Tulane University Law School and a Certificate in Civil Law.  During law school, she was an active member of Tulane’s Moot Court program, earning among others, the awards of Best Oral Advocate at the John R. Brown Appellate Admiralty Moot Court Competition, 1st Place at the Tulane Intraschool Appellate Moot Court Competition, 1st Place at the Southwest Regional Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition, and a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Trial Advocacy. She also served on the executive boards for Tulane Women in Law and the Moot Court Program.

 

Emma is admitted to the Louisiana State Bar. She currently resides in New Orleans with her husband and golden retriever, Huckleberry.
