Prior to attending law school, Denman worked as a site inspector for an environmental consulting firm, where he gained firsthand experience with environmental compliance, field investigations, and coastal construction projects. His background in environmental science and policy is further reflected in his work as a published author, with multiple articles appearing in publications of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
Denman earned his Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School, where he pursued concentration in Maritime Law. During law school, he was deeply involved in the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic, gaining practical experience in environmental and regulatory matters. He also served as Chair of the Moot Court Board and as a coach for the Mock Trial Team.
Denman focuses his practice on Maritime Law and Transportation Law, with experience litigating complex matters in both federal and state courts. He has hands-on litigation experience at all stages of a case, including trials, evidentiary hearings, motion practice, and depositions, and regularly represents clients in high-stakes maritime and offshore disputes.
Outside of his legal practice, Denman enjoys fishing and birdwatching.
