Rachel Roe was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. She received her undergraduate from the University of West Florida in 2007 where she graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Legal Studies. In 2009, Rachel moved to Louisiana to attend law school at LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center. During law school, she clerked with staff-counsel for Liberty Mutual, worked as a student attorney with the LSU Law Clinic in the 19th JDC Family Court, and received the CALI award in Professions/Ethics and Clinical Legal Education Award. She obtained her Juris Doctorate and Bachelors of Civil Law in 2012.

Rachel started her "legal career" while still in high school, and worked her way up through the legal profession from a receptionist, to head paralegal, to an attorney. Before joining Taylor, Wellons, Politz and Duhe, Rachel worked as a trial attorney for two national insurance carriers. She has tried multiple cases in various venues in Louisiana - both bench and jury. And she has successfully argued cases to the Louisiana Courts of Appeals. Her practice areas include General Liability and Insurance Defense.
