Although born in Jakarta, Indonesia, Karina considers herself a Louisiana native. After moving to the United States at a young age, she was raised in Metairie, Louisiana. She received both her undergraduate and law school degrees from Louisiana State University.
She excelled in and outside the classroom during her time in law school, serving as a law clerk for a Louisiana State District Judge, as an intern for U.S. Congressman Garret Graves, and as a Teaching Assistant to Professor John Devlin.
Karina’s background includes experience in general corporate and business transactions law, with her practice at TWPD focusing primarily on general liability and insurance defense litigation.
In her free time, Karina enjoys spending time at the park with her dog Beauregard, or volunteering at the local food banks and animal shelters. She is an avid traveler and is able to speak three different languages.
