Growing up with five siblings taught Jen two important lessons: 1) how to work within a team; and 2) how to navigate competing personalities and agendas. Jen continues utilizing these life lessons everyday. When Jen isn’t deposing witnesses or arguing in the courtroom, she’s in the boardroom of the Mental Health Association of Greater Baton Rouge or helping Boys & Girls Club plan their next gala. After work, Jen heads to the gym where she teaches group fitness classes. Jen strives to work in diverse environments, with diverse people to meet and exceed their expectations. Whether those expectations are creatively resolving litigation, navigating complex issues at trial, raising money for a good cause or helping her members at the gym live a healthier lifestyle: Jen brings unmatched passion and work ethic to the table every single time.
On the legal side, Jen has been practicing law in Louisiana since 2012 and (at the request of her clients) became licensed to practice in Texas in 2019. Jen defends large and small businesses in general liability, trucking and workers’ compensation claims. Jen has successfully defended her clients through bench trials, jury trials and on appeal.
