Jade is a seasoned multi-state litigator with a proven record of trial success since she began her legal career in 2010.  Her practice includes wide and varied experience in state and federal courts, focused primarily on complex and commercial litigation. To better serve her client’s needs, Jade has also developed skills and expanded her practice to include the negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts and protection of her clients’ privacy and intellectual property rights. 

Jade approaches litigation with an emphasis on creative, nuanced, and efficient strategies, prioritizing her clients every step of the way.  Her well-rounded background, keen interest in learning, and love of problem solving combine to serve and advance her clients’ goals.

Representative Cases
  • Smith v. Kansa Technology, LLC, No.2:16-cv-16597 (United States District Court, E.D. Louisiana 05/02/2018) – won defense verdict in jury trial in lawsuit against technology company product manufacturer.  Subsequently defeated Plaintiff’s appeals in the Federal Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal and United States Supreme Court.
  • Antippas v. Nola Hotel Grp., LLC, 2017-0798 (La. App. 4 Cir. 2/27/19), 265 So. 3d 1212 – won defense jury verdict in French quarter bicycle accident.  Defeated Plaintiff’s appeal in the Louisiana Fourth Circuit.
  • Lee v. Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen, Inc., No. CV 18-5831, 2019 WL 656164 (E.D. La. Jan. 10, 2019) – won summary judgment in open and obvious slip and fall claim after removing claim to Federal Court.
  • McGinnis v. Target Corp. of Minnesota, 801 F. App'x 298 (5th Cir. 2020) – won summary judgment in hotly disputed trip and fall claim.  Successfully also defeated Plaintiff’s appeal to the Federal Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal.
