Heidi was raised in Mamou, Louisiana. After graduating from St. Edmund High School, she attended Louisiana State University where she participated in LSU’s 3+3 program that allows students to receive a bachelor’s degree and a law degree in six years. Through the 3+3 program, Heidi began her studies at the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center during her senior year of college. She graduated summa cum laude from LSU with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and concentration in criminology after completing her first year of law school.
Heidi received her Juris Doctor and Graduate Degree in Comparative Law from LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2022, graduating summa cum laude. While in law school, Heidi received the CALI award in Insurance Law, Louisiana Civil Procedure II, Sales & Real Estate Transactions, and Matrimonial Regimes. She served as a member on the Board of Advocates where she competed and assisted in putting on moot court competitions. Additionally, she was a member of the Student Bar Association and served as a Junior Associate and Development Editor on the Louisiana Law Review.
Outside of work, Heidi enjoys spending time with her friends and family, exercising, hunting, and traveling.
