Michelle L. Maraist, originally from Lafayette, Louisiana, is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Loyola University School of Law. After a clerkship for the Honorable Judge Robert Klees with the Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal, she earned an LLM in Energy and Environmental Law from Tulane University School of Law. Her diverse practice includes maritime law, environmental law, insurance defense, premises liability, product liability, construction disputes, contractual disputes, toxic torts and general casualty matters. She is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state courts and the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association.
