Brent Michael Steier is originally from Chicago, Illinois. A graduate of Northern Illinois University with a degree in Philosophy in 1986, he attended Tulane Law School where he was selected to participate in one of the litigation clinics for the academic year 1992-1993. He is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana. He was voted Secretary of the Baton Rouge Claims Association in 1998. Brent is a member of the Louisiana State and Baton Rouge Bar Associations and his practice includes contract litigation, construction litigation, collections, insurance defense, creditors' rights in bankruptcy, defense in bankruptcy adversary proceedings, and workers' compensation coverage issues.
