Scott Rainwater was born in Monroe, Louisiana and moved to Winnsboro, Louisiana in 1980.  Scott received a four year scholarship to Louisiana Tech as a member of the Louisiana Tech Golf Team.  He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship.  Scott received his Juris Doctor from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2006 and was admitted to the bar later that same year.  During his time at LSU Law, Scott received the CALI award for Legal Research and Writing.  Additionally, he served on the Student Bar Association's athletic committee as chair of the annual golf tournament.  Currently, Scott's practice is focused on premise liability, insurance coverage, automobile liability, contractual disputes and general casualty.  He is admitted to practice before all Louisiana State and Federal Courts, and is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association.
