Lynda Albano Tafaro is a native New Orleanian who obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Loyola University of New Orleans.  After several years in the systems information department of Pan American Life Insurance Company, Lynda received a Juris Doctorate from Loyola University College of Law.  She served as Articles Editor of the Loyola Law Review and was a member of the Loyola Moot Court staff. Prior to entering private practice, Lynda clerked for the Honorable A.J. McNamara, former Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana and the Honorable Harry T. Lemmon, former Associate Justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court.  Lynda’s practice focuses on appellate advocacy, insurance coverage and defense and general liability. Her prior experience also includes medical malpractice defense, premises liability, construction law and automobile and trucking liability. She is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Louisiana, and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.  She is a member of the Louisiana State and Federal Bar Associations and has served as a member and vice-president of the St. Ann Parish School Board.
