Jared was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and graduated from Isidore Newman High School. He went on to graduate magna cum laude from the University of Georgia with a bachelor's degree in business administration, majoring in finance. In 2009, Jared received his Juris Doctor from Tulane Law School, graduating summa cum laude. At Tulane, Jared was a member of Tulane's Inn of Court and an active member in its Business Law Society.

Jared's practice focuses on general liability, insurance defense and business litigation. He is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Louisiana, and is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Recently, Jared was selected to be a part of 2013-2015 Lemann-Stern Leadership Development Class, wherein he will continue to develop his role as a leader in the New Orleans community. Jared also enjoys coaching little league and volunteering at Carrollton Boosters.
